7,000 Piyush Produced!

Around 7,000 bottles of Piyush (chlorinated water) were produced today with the active and enthusiastic participation of 75 young volunteers. The daily amount of bottles of Piyush ENPHO produces with its staff is 2000 at the most. To meet the demand of chlorinated during the ongoing diarrhea epidemic, Paschim Paaila had called 40 volunteers for mass production of Piyush at ENPHO. The response was overwhelming with 75 volunteers who engaged themselves in different shifts 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Majority of the 'Piyush' produced today will be used by Paschim Paaila volunteers for safe water campaign in the diarrhea affected region.

  • Besides, Paschim Paaila also had a meeting with Association of Youth Organizations Nepal (AYON). AYON showed its commitment to support all of Paschim Paaila's endeavors through its network and through some fund-raising campaigns.
  • Water-Aid committed to support Paschim Paaila with Rs. 150,000.
