The 36 volunteers meet the RAT

Day 8
24th July 2009, Friday

  • The team of 36 volunteers that departed from Kathmandu yesterday evening has reached Salle Bazar of Salyan district. They will be staying at Salle Bazar overnight.
  • They will depart tomorrow at 5 am for two districts: Jajarkot and Rukum. 10 VDCs in Jajarkot and 10 VDCs in Rukum are aimed for now.
  • The planning was done in coordination with RAT and with the health professionals in charge of the the epidemic control.

    yeah, give them the message that there are some people to care for them other than the despised politicians.
